Jammin' with Jam

Adelaide and I had a great day Saturday with my mom and grandmother. We spent the day making apricot jam and chit-chatting away. The jam was soooooo easy to make, and we even used my grandma's hand grinder that is fifty years old to smash up the apricots. It's really fun to be homemaker-y sometimes! I must post the process.

She was such a good girl, playing horses the whole time.

I think we made out pretty nicely.

wow that's a lot of jam. I wish I could be all homemaker-y more often. I think canning peaches will be the extent of that for now :) Fun!

Seeing that old hand grinder brings back memories of my own granny. We use to use hers to make apple sauce. Sometimes the old ones work out just as well. Glad you had fun!

I must say that I am a bit envious of your homemaker-y-ness. I wish I had the motivation to do stuff like that!
