A Memorial Weekend

We spent a nice Memorial Day weekend in Idaho Falls. We did a lot of hanging out so Adelaide could play with her cousins. We also played a game of tennis and got in a bike ride as well.

We did spend a day at Yellowstone. We love Yellowstone. It has some of the most diverse, beautiful landscape I've ever seen.

We attempted to keep the kids together with this totally awesome rope. It lasted about two minutes.

Upper Falls.

This bison (buffalo, whatever) was right behind Davey. This picture does not do it justice.

Old Faithful. It was raining so we ate some dinner and watched from inside the lodge.

On our way home we took flowers to my grandpa and great grandparents graves in North Ogden. I wish Adelaide could have known my great grandparents. I also wish she would have had more time with my grandpa. They were wonderful people and I miss them dearly.

I hope everyone had a marvelous weekend. Ours was nice, indeed.

Just Another Hint

(AHEM...DAVEY)
My birthday is slowly creeping upon me. 67 days of creeping left. King Arthur Flour told me what I wanted for my birthday. I really, really want this yogurt maker. It would be super-rad to make my own at home.

Then to make it even better, this wave yogurt cheese maker (Greek yogurt) would go really well with it.

Last but not least this yogurt starter would be really nice to make it extra healthy for my belly.

How rad would it be to make your own yogurt, then make your own Greek yogurt, then make frozen yogurt, and all from scratch? All with the ease of these handy dandy little tools.
I love it.

REALLY.

Mother's Day Weekend

This has been my favorite Mother's Day yet. It was just a good weekend. Everything was good, simple as that.

We went to the zoo on Saturday with my mom and Jake, Anna, Steve, and Sophie, Steve's parents, and his sister Stacey.

It was the first time Adelaide would sit on that dang elephants trunk. I was so proud.

The next picture may be unbelievable, however, I say that you must believe it.

Yesterday, Davey left in the morning to get my Mother's Day present from Kip's house. When he came back he was holding a wooden bat. At first I thought, 'well that's cool I guess, we like baseball. Maybe he found me a really buff bat.' Then he handed it to me. It says, 'To May...Reggie Jackson.' WHATEVER! There was no way!

For those who know, I am an A's fan (no matter how crappy they are, I don't ride on wagons). Reggie ended his career with the Yankees but, I can forgive him because he was the buffest A ever (well, one of them). He gave them more time than he ever gave those freakin' Yanks. Anyway, Davey was informed by a friend a few weeks ago that Reggie was gong to be in town. Davey buckled Adelaide in and they were off to Salt Lake. The bat is a fruit of his loving labors.

Thanks babe, the bat rocks!

Then, I have to say that I have the sweetest three year old daughter. She picked out an adorable Winnie the Pooh card and colored in it for me. She even took Davey shopping in antique stores and bought me this pretty ballerina. She picked it out all by herself.

I am so thankful for her and thankful that she is the reason I get to celebrate Mother's day.
She truly is my miracle and I am so grateful she came to our family.
I love you Adelaide!

Tumble To The Ground

Well, it looks like we have a little gymnast in the family.

I took Adelaide to a free trial class at the Little Gym a few weeks ago.

It turns out that she absolutely loved it.

So now, she goes every week.

I love to go and watch her in class.
I have to say that I am really impressed with the Little Gym.
I really like their program and the
non-competitive atmosphere.
It is a structured program with a routine,
but they have so many
things going on in one class that it keeps their attention.
They get plenty of time to run and get their energy out.

So, if anyone is looking for a great place to get
their child active, involved with other kids,
and get their brain working,
I would definitely recommend this place.

She loves it! (so do I)

Anna & Steve

My sister and Steve were married yesterday.
It was a beautiful day, I can't believe it's already come and gone!

We started off with some pre-wedding massages.

Their awesomely gorgeous cake.
Red velvet with cream cheese fondant.

Anna's bridezilla moment before the wedding.

This ice sculpture was given as a gift.
Is't it cool? (No pun intended)

Jackson (Steve's nephew) and Adelaide.
The cutest ring bearer and flower girl ever.

She did such a good job at sprinkling the flowers.
When she got to the end she just turned the basket
upside down and dumped the rest on the floor!

Jake got to carry Sophie down the isle.

Here comes the bride.

I love this picture. She looked gorgeous.

Enough said.

Don't they look hot?

Presenting the Prows family. It's funny,
Anna went from Price to Prows.
We told her she should hyphenate it.

These two had such a fun time together.

They were good kids and didn't smash the cake on their faces.
That's the way to do it.

Some of the wonderful guests.

Mother and brother of the bride.

I love that she wore her red boots.
Slammin' hot if I do say so myself.

Congratulations you guys!
It was a beautiful day
(especially when it stopped raining for pictures)
We love you.
